Melissa spent many years working in television and film as Production Manager and Assistant Director on various productions including BBC1’s The Big Questions with Nicky Campbell, Channel 4’s Dispatches, the Discovery Channel’s Kings of Construction, BBC2’s Uncharted Territory, Sky One’s Shock Treatment with Rutger Hauer and Cineville’s indie film Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont, starring Dame Joan Plowright. Melissa then migrated into casting and loves championing emerging young talent. She created this agency over five years ago and has developed strong contacts in casting. She has been lucky to work with some of the best in the business, and brings a wealth of professional knowledge and experience of the industry to APA Talent.
Specialising in film and TV, Jason has worked among some notable films including: Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, Lyrebird, Breathe, Wonder Woman and many more. He has also worked with the BBC on a variety of different dramas and documentaries and taken on many roles in independent features, shorts and commercials. In addition to his on-screen work, Jason has had many roles in live theatre, including two British classics by Playwright Oscar Wilde; “The Importance of Being Earnest” and “The Picture of Dorian Gray”.
Aside from working as an actor, Jason has branched into directing and producing films. Adrian began his working life as an actor after graduating from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He spent eight years working in London, in Repertory and touring. He later became a successful writer for TV and film.
He sold his first feature film script to a major production company, followed by writing on some of the BBC’s prime time kid’s TV shows such as ‘My Parents are Aliens’, ‘The Mysti Show’ and ‘MI High’, for which he was Bafta recommended.
